Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has broken his wrist, according to a statement on the club's official website.
The France international will continue to work and train with the rest of the squad in an effort to get him fit and ready to start the Premier League season on time.
A statement on the Tottenham website said: "The France goalkeeper will continue to work alongside the First Team squad to build up his fitness in a bid to be ready for the start of the season.
Our medical team will continue to monitor his rehabilitation and progress during pre-season."
Michel Vorm will be left as the only available keeper in the squad until Lloris returns to fitness, with Spurs reportedly sniffing around for other available options to cover for the Frenchman should he leave for Old Trafford.

I know someone who broke their wrist and it was 3 months before back to normal use, so they will miss him as he is very good.

he papers over the cracks of a mediocre (at best) defence. Spurs were already an incredibly lucky team last year. I don't imagine they'll fare well as long as he's out.
I'm predicting spurs to finish 8th or 9th this year.

I wasn't happy when Danny Baker got cancer, but I can't stand the bloke.
Glad he recovered, but I wish he'd joined a Trappist monastery in thanks (God doesn't have to exist for people to be grateful to Him/him/it/whatever)

Brilliant keeper and I don't like players getting injured, as I'm nice like that.
Also massive respect to the bloke for not joining the overseas gay player stereotype and refusing to go off after getting knocked out at Everton.

There is a criteria for enjoying the news of a player's woes, but the type of shirt he puts on come Saturday, does not fit it.

Always feel uneasy celebrating a bad Injury to a player, just doesn't sit right with me.
Any bad luck that falls Spurs way is good, but not going to crow about that sort of thing
